Managing Partner of JLCD Law Firm Mr. Zhou elected as the deputy chairman of Construction Association

The 8^th general meeting of Shanghai Association of Construction Industry was held on the afternoon of March 12, 2015. More than 400 members were present at the meeting. Election of leaders of the Association was the most important item in the agenda. Through voting, Mr. Zhou Jigao, Managing Partner of JianLingChengDa Law Firm was elected as the deputy chairman of the Association. It has been the first time in the history of the Association that the head of a law firm is elected as chairman.

Shanghai Association of Construction Industry is an association of 527 members in the business of building, utilities construction, installation, decoration, all of them reputable with 2^nd or above level qualification in construction. Mr. Zhou has been retained as an expert in the expert committee of the Association since 2007 and he contributed greatly as such, including giving comments and interpretations on new laws and their application, giving practical guidance on legal management, organizing the drafting of legal risk guidance in construction business etc.

The other 12 members were elected deputy chairman members this time, including: Shanghai Construction & Engineering Group, Shanghai Urban Construction Group, China Construction No. 8 Engineering Bureau, China No. 20 Smelting Group, Shanghai Construction No. 1 Group, Shanghai Construction No. 4 Group, Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., Ltd.
